2008 – Porsche 911 Carrera 4S (997)

The Porsche 911 is a sports car produced by Porsche AG of Stuttgart, Germany.

This car has been constantly evolving since its launch in 1964.

Mechanically, it stands out for having a rear engine and air cooling.

Since its launch, the 911 has been modified both by private teams and by the factory itself, whether for rally, racing, or any other type of motorsport competition.

In a vote to elect the most influential car of the 20th century, the 911 ranked fifth, behind the Ford Model T, the Mini, the Citroën DS, and the Volkswagen Beetle.

When it was presented at the 1963 Frankfurt Motor Show, the car was an immediate success.

In 2004, the 911 was thoroughly revised and the 996 was replaced by the 997, being presented in July of that same year.

The 997 shares less than 30% of its parts with the 996, but technically it is still very similar to this model.

The 997 was remodeled in 2008, notably with the introduction of new direct injection engines, larger air intakes on the front bumper, new front and rear headlights, and the introduction of a dual-clutch transmission.
