1954 – Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn

Rolls-Royce is an English company that became famous for manufacturing the most luxurious cars in the world.

It is also a manufacturer of aircraft engines.

It was founded by Frederick Henry Royce and Charles Stewart on March 15, 1906 as a result of a partnership formed in 1904.

This car on display has a very interesting history, as it belonged to the House of Windsor. Note, not the same model but the actual car itself. You can notice the following detail: the 'Spirit of Ecstasy' (the name given to the emblem on the radiator) is not standing upright as usual, but with one knee on the ground and the head slightly bowed. This is because when a member of the Royal Family was inside, the emblem would turn backwards, as in the presence of royalty no one could stand with their back turned, but rather as the 'Spirit of Ecstasy' presented itself, as a sign of submission. In addition, it has a 'House of Windsor' emblem on the front and the respective identification on its chassis.
