A tour to enjoy the westernmost point of continental Europe, Cabo da Roca, where the most famous Portuguese poet, Luis Vaz de Camões, wrote that it was the place ‘Where the land ends and the sea begins’ (in Os Lusíadas, Canto III). but before we get there, we still have Cascais with its bay and Estoril with all its glamour in between, with its palaces, fortifications, lighthouses and much more. We have a whole history of our ancestors to show you.

We continue along the coast, passing Alto dos Oitavos, to enjoy its fantastic view over the Atlantic Coast, descend to Cabo Raso and head to Guincho Beach, which is very popular with surfers, kitesurfers and windsurfers. From there, we began to climb up to Malveira da Serra, taking a twisting road, always accompanied by superb views of the sea and mountains, reaching the top at the typical village of Azóia. We descended to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe, to enjoy a phenomenal view from its height of 140 metres.

After stopping, we return to the same road to Azóia, descend to Malveira da Serra and continue towards the Crismina Dunes, where we will stop to observe the dynamics of the dunes. We then continue to Quinta da Marinha, an exclusive residential area on the Costa do Sol, from where we will head to Boca do Inferno, with a brief stop to admire this rock formation, pass by the Cascais Marina and return to the starting point.
