Guincho Plus Tour

This tour, departing from Cascais Centre, explains a little about the history of this town, passing by Guincho beach, where Brian Adams, then aged ten, certainly spent part of his summer of 1969, as he lived between mid-1967 and the end of 1970 in Birre, Cascais, at Casa dos Três Choupos. Who doesn't remember his 1984 hit, ‘Summer of 69’? Many other stories and curiosities will emerge along the way.
During this tour, you will enjoy not only the bay but also the Citadel, passing by the Paula Rego House of Stories, Guia, Alto dos Oitavos, to enjoy its fantastic view over the Atlantic Coast, heading towards Cabo Raso, where everything changes and we continue towards Guincho Beach and then climb up to the Crismina dunes, where we will stop to observe the dynamics of the dunes, then continue to Quinta da Marinha, an exclusive residential area on the Costa do Sol, from there, we head to Boca do Inferno, with a brief stop to admire this rock formation. We pass by Cascais Marina and continue on to Estoril, passing by the largest casino in Europe and the place that inspired Ian Fleming to create his famous character, James Bond. We then return to the starting point.
